As I walked in, I remember thinking, "I hope the coffee and service are as amazing as this space." And, to my delight, St. Lucia Coffee Roasters didn't let me down.

The space was just comfortable, kind of like my favorite pair of jeans. The space made me feel like I could be myself and that who I was would be welcome here. Weird, I know, but that is the only way I can describe it.

Jordan, the barista, was kind, easy to talk with, and knowledgeable about the coffee and the coffee house.   The drip coffee, roasted on location, was very good.  The owner came in while I was there and she was super friendly.  She told me that they'd been in that location for 10 years, although her husband had been roasting coffee since the early 2000's. (He started roasting coffee in their basement with an amped-up popcorn popper!)

The coffee was good, a blend that trended toward the middle of the light/dark spectrum. The owners prefer working with Guatemalan coffees, which is a nice change from the ubiquitous Ethiopian coffees popular throughout the Northwest.

I will be back. Without a doubt. If you're in the area, you should check the out.

I had a good mocha latte today at your place. While I was there, it was interesting to learn that you make and sell cacao candy bars there. I got a chance to taste the raw and roasted beans/seeds of the cacao pod. I bought one cacao bar. I opened it when I got home and I was disappointed. It does not taste good. It wasn't even worth it for the price I paid for $12! I just feel I had to give feedback and let people know about it.  Good coffee and nice atmosphere though. I definitely would stop there again for a latte, but not for the bar. It is extremely over priced for the taste of it and size of the bar! (2.25" x 5.5").

This is probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to. The service is always friendly and I've never been disappointed with their coffee. They roast their own coffee in house and it's wonderful! If you're looking for a quick bite and a great cup of coffee, don't hesitate to stop by. I have actually started coming here on a weekly basis because the coffee is so good!

Cute, stylish place with fabulous coffee and sunshiny barista!  What more could you ask for?!  Honey latte was delish.

Great little indie cafe we discovered on the way back home to Seattle from Portland area.  Very sweet atmosphere, friendly staff and customers, and great coffee drinks.
